What's covered
The scheme comprises the following categories and sub-categories:
Vendors that can capture and supply remote sensing data that defines the Earth’s above ground and below water surface, and depict height information, vegetation, floods, and other special conditions and features. Typically collected from aerial imagery, satellite imagery, or active sensors such as LiDAR and RADAR.
A1 Satellite data capture and supply
For the supply of imagery data and elevation data that has been captured by or derived from satellite-based sensors at a range of different resolutions.
A2 Airborne (non-RPAS) imagery capture and supply
For the supply of imagery that has been captured by airborne sensors in a non-RPAS aircraft in the visible and infrared wavelengths at a range of resolutions.
A3 Airborne (RPAS) imagery capture and supply
For the supply of imagery that has been captured by RPAS in the visible and infrared wavelengths at a range of resolutions.
A4 Airborne (non-RPAS) LiDAR data capture and supply
For the supply of LiDAR data that has been captured by airborne LiDAR sensors in a non-RPAS aircraft at a range of different point densities.
A5 Airborne (RPAS) LiDAR data capture and Ssupply
For the supply of LiDAR data that has been captured by RPAS at a range of different point densities.
A6 Radar data capture and supply
For the supply of imagery data and elevation data that has been captured by RADAR sensors at a range of different resolutions.
A7 Terrestrial data capture and supply
For the supply of imagery and elevation information that has been captured with sensors located on the surface of the earth (includes mobile capture).
A8 Bathymetric data capture and supply
For the supply of surface depth information that has been captured by a LIDAR sensor or Sonar sensor.
A9 Other remotely sensed data capture and supply
For the supply of remotely sensed data that has been captured by other technologies not mentioned in Schedule A.
Vendors that can provide professional services relating to remotely sensed data including consultation, development, monitoring, data processing and other associated services as well as vendors that can supply spatial data products and services that do not fall under Schedule A.
B1 Professional Services
Professional services relating to remotely sensed data (e.g. Consulting).
B2 Spatial data products and services
Supply of spatial data products and services that do not fall under Schedule A.
Vendors that can supply equipment that captures various wavelengths across the electromagnetic spectrum, equipment that uses technology to measure the distance from the sensor to the target feature and specialist software relating to remotely sensed data.
C1 RPAS
Remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS) fitted with a sensor to capture imagery or elevation data.
C2 Cameras and lenses
Small format digital imaging equipment for remote sensing platforms.
C3 Remote sensors
Specialised equipment for capturing remotely sensed data.
C4 Surveying equipment
Surveying equipment for the purpose of positioning remote sensing data.
C5 Remote sensing software
Specialist software for the processing, interpretation, classification of remotely sensed data.
What you need to know
The scheme offers a supplier list with suppliers qualified as low or high risk capable, with risk defined on a per contract basis as per the thresholds.
Low risk capable
Contracts under $150k and not considered high risk.
High risk capable
Contracts over $150K OR considered high risk.
